Town Meeting
September 2 nd , 2025
Board Members Present: Brad Hompe, Nick Burzynski, Dana Hartzell
7:00PM Brad called the meeting to order.
Previous Minutes read by Kiel
 Motion to accept previous minutes as read by Brad, seconded by Nick. Motion carried.
Treasurers report read by Dana. Confirmed Clerk and treasurer balance.
Public Comment
 No comments made
Appointment of Clerk and Supervisor
 Brad motioned to appoint Kiel Morello as Clerk. 2 nd by Nick. Motion carried
 Nick motioned to appoint Shawn Kuehni as Supervisor. 2 nd by Brad. Motion carried
 Shawn joined the board at the table
Ice Age Alliance presentation
 Members of the Ice Age Alliance presented the board and public with details about the Ice age
trail. They provided a summary of future plans for the trail. Both statewide and for the town of
Colburn.
Approve the Otter Lake aerator agreement
 This is the same agreement, but it states more clearly that the county pays in the off season.
We send bills all 12 months. Montion to accept the agreement by Nick. 2 nd by Shawn. Motion
carried.

Approve License and permits
 Two operator licenses were presented for Huron Tavern. They are paid for. Motion to approve
the licenses by Nick. 2 nd by Shawn. Motion carried.
 A mobile home permit was presented. Documents were provided. The value is $45,000. There
is a slab, well, and septic. Montion to approve the permit by Nick. 2 nd by Shawn. Motion carried
 Brad mentioned a complaint from a resident about mobile homes of low value in the town. The
board discussed enforcing the town ordinance for mobile homes. Brad will call the owners of
these mobile homes.
Road work discussion and update

 170 th bridge – It’s not eligible for a grant as of now. We will continue to work with the state
about the bridge this spring.
 G bridge – is still probably out till end of October
 More mowing will be done on roads that need it.
 Grader is ordered and we should get it in January.
 Welding and other work is pending on the old plow truck.
Expenditures were reviewed and approved.
Next meeting scheduled for October 7 th 2025
Nick motioned to adjourn the meeting. 2 nd by Shawn. Motion carried
