Meeting Minutes from January 2024 Meeting 


January 2nd, 2024 Meeting Minutes 

Members present were Brad, Kiel, Steve, Dana, and Jeff. Brad called the meeting to order. Jeff read the meeting minutes. Kiel made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Steve seconded and motion carried. Dana read the treasurer's report and confirmed that the clerk and treasurer balance. Meeting was opened for public comment, no public comment was brought forward. Jeff reported there was an application for an operator's liquor license by Crystal Milas. Pending completion of the Operators Certificate, Kiel made a motion to grant the license. Steve seconded and motion was voted on and carried.  The board discussed road work with the highway crew. The pressure washer issue was discussed and a plan date was for Wednesday. Brad discussed creating a hwy sign list with the highway crew. Brad also brought forward the 350th grant and that the town was on the waiting list until approximately March or April. The culvert reimbursement for the 130th project was also brought up and was successfully granted. Dale discussed that the shed was bumped via hooked with a piece of equipment but was going to be repaired as  it was minor but worthy of noting for the record. Brad discussed the large loan payment coming due March 15th as well.  Next meeting date is set for February 6th. Kiel made a motion to adjourn, Steve seconded, motion carried meeting adjourned.
