Regular Town Meeting Monday, April 5, 2021 7:00 pm at Colburn Town Hall Meeting was called to order by Chairman, Brad Hompe. Board members present included Brad Hompe, Kiel Morello, Steve Sime, Dana Hartzell and Kathy Yeager. Kathy presented the minutes from last meeting Kiel motion to accept, Steve seconded – motion carried
Dana presented the treasurer’s report. The bank balances were: AbbyBank CD: $63,807.27 Forward Financial Checking: $185,720.06 Public Comment: Ken Malhko asked if he could dig up small trees in the ditches to cross plant them. Brad said that is up to the land owner. Licenses and permits: None ATV route decision had been appealed; nothing was considered. Gravel bids: Two gravels bids were submitted by Chippewa County and Haas. Chippewa County came in at $12.52 a ton or $23.90 a yard for ¾” or 1 ¼” crushed base course. Haas came in at $10.43 a yard for 3/4” or 1 ¼”. Kiel made a motion to accept Haas’ bid, Steve seconded, motion carried. Road work update and discussion: Brushing is going on The old truck light is still coming on or off 350th street is in rough shape. The board talked about multiple options of what to do with 350th. Kiel made motion to dig spots out on 350th and put gravel in the holes and pulverize it. Steve seconded the motion, motion carried.
