Regular Town Meeting Tuesday May 4, 2021 7:00 pm at Colburn Town Hall Meeting was called to order by Chairman, Brad Hompe. Board members present included Brad Hompe, Kiel Morello, Steve Sime, Dana Hartzell and Kathy Yeager. Kathy presented the minutes from last meeting Kiel motion to accept, Steve seconded – motion carried.
Dana presented the treasurer’s report. The bank balances were: Abby Bank CD: $63,888.61 Forward Financial Checking: $221,471.35 Public Comment: Gary Fritz gave the town a check for $1,500 from the Stanley Rod and Gun Club to put into the Otter Lake Utility account. Gary also if the town have any sort of ordinance for campers in the town. Will put the subject on next months agenda. Licenses and permits: None. Road work update and discussion: 350th: decision was made that the road will be redone 3 to 4 10ths of a mile from Hwy 64. Did out what is needed and raise the road. Leave it and see what happens over the winter. Patch everything South of that. The new truck will not go into neutral. Took it in and Midstate fixed it. The old truck there was water in the fuel filter. But today the light came back on again. Reviewed culvert list. Kiel made a motion to skip the two culverts on 160th and go ahead with the road on 170th for one mile. Brad will apply for culvert aid for next year. Road signs are being replaced and some patching. The furnace quit working. Furnace guy found a fan for $335 plus service call. Kiel made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Steve seconded – motion carried.
