Kyle made a motion to approve-seconded by Steve. Motion carried. Kathy presented the Treasurer’s report. Clerk and Treasurer reported balancing.
Public Comment: Dan Liske mention that the aerators will be turned on this month. He also mentions that there is a family day planned for the 15th on Otter Lake. Ken Mahalko mentioned that his taxes are lower this year than last. He mentioned that he would be okay if the taxes were raised. No license or permit applications ARPA Funds: Kathy gave an update: there still is not final rule but there is still new information coming out. With the new loss revenue calculation sheet, the town has no loss revenue. Kathy and Brad thought maybe we should consult with an auditor to see if the calculations need to be adjusted. Board decided to wait until a month to see if the final rule will come out. CT Form/GTA Funding: 2020 is amended and submitted unbalance. Hopefully this will put the future years in balance. When the 2019 CT form was submitted, there were errors in the reporting. The way to fix those errors is the hire an auditor. Kathy will weigh the pros and cons if resubmitted would be beneficial to the town. The decision was made to wait on hiring an auditor at this point. Road work update: Brad will post an ad for the paving project on Otter Lake Road. A new brushing company attended the meeting and asked if we would be doing any brush work in the spring. He current rate is $75 per hour. The board will look this month and decide at the next meeting if brushing needs to be done this year. Expenditures were reviewed and approved by the board.
