Meeting Minutes from Oct 2023 Meeting

October 3rd, 2023 Meeting

Members Present were Brad,Kiel, and Danna.

Brad called the meeting to order, and Kiel read the meeting minutes from the previous meeting. Brad motioned to accept, Kiel seconded. Dana read the treasurer's report and the clerk and treasurer reports balanced.
 Public comment was opened up and Kenny M. discussed  hope for monopole cell phone towers as a possibility in the town. He discussed hopes of funds and shared revenue being used for 350th. He also addressed roads having some rough spots in them that needed some addressing as well. He also brought forward concerns of CTH G bridge impacts and the possibility of 350th being a temporary county road. No more public comment was brought forward. 
No license or permits.
Mobile home rodance was discussed by the board. Kiel made a motion to approve, Brad seconded, motion carried.
Approval of ordinances for provisional liquor and alcohol licenses were discussed. Kiel made a motion to accept, Brad seconded, Motion carried.
Class A, B, C retail licenses were discussed, Kiel made a motion, Brad seconded, motion carried,
Review of Preliminary budget took place as well. Budget was reviewed by board, Kiel made a motion, Brad seconded, Motion carried. Budget hearing set for 11/7/2023 at 7pm.
Road work was discussed: Board discussed that the Engineer would apply for a grant on 350th. Board also discussed additional grants and options for funding. The topic of ag related grants was also discussed.
2024, 2025, and 2026 road improvement plan was discussed. Kiel made a motion, Brad second, motion carried.
Next meeting set for 11/7/2023
Kiel made a motion to adjourn, Brad seconded, motion carried, meeting adjourned.
